Travel Clinic

Important Update

We have had to temporarily stop providing our travel health advice clinics to general travellers. Please speak to your local pharmacist or look online for up to date travel advise.

You can check your vaccination history and view all previous vaccinations administered by your GP by signing up to the NHS App or Patient Access.

We will review this in April. Many thanks for your understanding.

We are currently unable to offer appointments to patients not registered at the practice.

Our nurses are able to give advice on the injections and possible healthcare you may need. Please book your Travel Clinic appointments in the Treatment Room at least 4 – 6 weeks in advance.

Our Travel Clinic is held on:

Tuesday 09:00 – 12:30

or you may be seen at other times by request in the Treatment Room.

Diphtheria, hepatitis A, typhoid and yellow fever are just some diseases that you may need to be vaccinated against if you are travelling abroad. While rare in this country some holiday destinations are not so fortunate. Not all vaccinations are provided free of charge by the NHS and therefore it is always best to ask your Practice Nurse what you actually need. She will also be able to give you advice on how to protect yourself from malaria and other infectious diseases.

To book an appointment, please phone 01635 867171 and ask to be put through to the Treatment Room.

If you unsure what vaccinations you need? Please telephone the Treatment Room for further advice.

A useful guide to likely vaccination requirements can be found on the Foreign & Commonwealth Office website.

Please make sure you read the General Travel Advice Leaflet. The content will help you to stay healthy on your trip.
