COVID-19 Vaccination Update 13 Jan 2021

We are pleased to announce we have joined nine other local practices to deliver a COVID Vaccination service. Our first delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations arrived at Newbury Racecourse Vaccination Centre today. We will be expecting larger supplies of vaccine over the next few weeks and will be working as hard as possible to ensure we meet Government targets.

How you will be contacted

Please do not contact the practice to book in for your COVID-19 Vaccination – we will be contacting you directly as notifications of vaccine deliveries are received.

We will be vaccinating as per the GOV.UK COVID-19 vaccination priority groups

  • Residents in a care home for older adults and staff working in care homes for older adults
  • All those 80 years of age and over and frontline health and social care workers

Please see the Gov.uk website for the rest of the groups:

Other plans are being made for patients who cannot physically attend the Racecourse to be vaccinated as soon as possible.

The way in to the Racecourse will be well sign posted as ‘Covid-19 Vaccination Centre’ on all of the major routes in to Newbury.

Address: Grandstand, Newbury Racecourse ,Racecourse Road Newbury, RG14 5AW
