If you feel that your problem is urgent, you should tell the receptionist and every effort will be made for you to be seen the same day.
If the doctor needs to see you in person or you would prefer a face-to-face appointment, we will invite you to come in.

Sickness Certificates (Fit Notes)
You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.

If you require a home visit, this will be triaged by a clinician. Please request before 11am and a clinician will call you.

Musculoskeletal (MSK) Triage
For people experiencing symptoms of limb disorders such as back pain, joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves, tendons, and structures that support limbs, neck and back or sports injuries.

Chaperones
If you would like a chaperone present during your consultation, please advise the receptionist when booking your appointment or when checking in.
Interpretation & Translation
We can arrange interpretation and translation services in person or by phone for our patients who do not speak English. Please ensure you advise reception at the time of booking an appointment so arrangements can be made.
Out of Hours
Enhanced Access
Mornings
7:30am to 8am: GP Telephone calls (Monday to Friday)
Evenings
6:30pm to 7pm: Four evening clinics per week (Monday to Thursday)
(All appointments prebookable up to 6 weeks in advance)
Saturdays
Phone Lines unavailable
8am to 12pm: Appointments will be bookable in advance with a GP or Nurse twice a month.
Out of Hours Service
Between 6:30pm and 8am Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.
Life Threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent But Not Life Threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.
